What photocraft.today is

photocraft.today is an independent website that hosts a community build of PhotoCraft, an open-source photo editor developed by the ArtCraft team and its contributors. We did not write PhotoCraft's editing engine. We package and serve PhotoCraft's official WebAssembly ("web") build, compiled from the project's public source code, so it can be opened directly in a browser without downloading or installing anything.

Every edit, file open and save happens locally in your browser through WebAssembly. We do not run a server that processes, stores or has access to the images or documents you open in the editor.

Independence and trademarks

PhotoCraft is an independent, community-driven open-source project distributed under the MIT and Apache 2.0 software licenses. This site is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the ArtCraft team, Storyteller, or the original PhotoCraft project maintainers. "PhotoCraft" and the underlying editor are the work of their original authors; this site only hosts and serves their open-source release.

Adobe and Photoshop are trademarks of Adobe Inc. PSD and PSB are Adobe's native file formats. PhotoCraft is not affiliated with, authorized by, or sponsored by Adobe Inc. All format mentions on this site are strictly for technical interoperability reference.

Licensing

PhotoCraft is dual-licensed under the MIT License and the Apache License 2.0, at your option. The full source code is available on GitHub.

How this site makes money

This site is supported by display advertising. Ads are served through third-party ad networks, which may use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not charge for access to the editor and do not sell user data.
